Instacart
Groceries delivered in as fast as 1 hour.
Founded in 2012 by Apoorva Mehta, Max Mullen, and Brandon Leonardo, Instacart was created after Apoorva tried and failed at nearly 20 startup ideas before landing on grocery delivery. The company pioneered the on-demand grocery delivery market and now partners with over 1,400 national, regional, and local retailers including Costco, Kroger, Safeway, and Whole Foods, delivering from over 80,000 stores across North America. Instacart went public in September 2023 on NASDAQ. The company has also expanded into advertising technology with Instacart Ads, creating a powerful new revenue stream by connecting CPG brands with millions of grocery shoppers.
