Dropbox
Keep life organized and work moving.
Founded in 2007 by Drew Houston and Arash Ferdowsi, Dropbox was born out of frustration when Drew repeatedly forgot his USB drive. The simple idea of syncing files across devices over the cloud revolutionized how people store and share their work. Dropbox was one of the first consumer cloud storage services and quickly grew to over 700 million registered users worldwide. The company went public in 2018 with a valuation of over $9 billion. Today, Dropbox has evolved from a file storage tool into a broader collaboration platform, offering features like Dropbox Paper, eSign, and team folders for businesses of all sizes.
