Webflow
Build better business websites, faster.
Founded in 2013 by Vlad Magdalin, Sergie Magdalin, and Bryant Chou in San Francisco, Webflow was created to bridge the gap between design tools and actual web development. Traditional web design required either using rigid templates or hiring developers to translate Figma designs into code — Webflow eliminated both constraints. The platform generates clean, production-ready HTML, CSS, and JavaScript directly from visual design, empowering designers to build and ship websites independently. Webflow raised at a $4 billion valuation in 2022 and serves over 3.5 million users including brands like Dell, Zendesk, and IDEO. The company has expanded into a full website experience platform with CMS, e-commerce, and membership capabilities.

Founder / CEO
Vlad Magdalin is the co-founder and CEO of Webflow. Born in Russia and raised in the United States, he grew up watching his mother, a web designer, struggle with the limitations of tools that required a developer to bring her designs to life. That experience inspired him to spend over a decade building Webflow — a company that was rejected by Y Combinator three times before finally getting in on the fourth attempt. Vlad's persistence is now a legendary story in the startup world.
