Grafana Labs
Operational dashboards for everything.
Founded in 2014 by Torkel Ödegaard, Anthony Woods, and Raj Dutt, Grafana Labs is built around the Grafana open-source project, which has become the de facto standard for operational dashboards and observability visualization. Grafana connects to virtually any data source — Prometheus, Elasticsearch, MySQL, Datadog, and hundreds more — and displays it all in beautiful customizable dashboards. Over 20 million people use Grafana globally, and it runs in the infrastructure of companies including Microsoft, eBay, and Goldman Sachs. The company raised $240 million in 2022 at a $6 billion valuation and offers Grafana Cloud, a fully managed observability platform, as well as Loki for log aggregation and Tempo for distributed tracing.
