Founder / CEO

Sid Sijbrandij is the co-founder and CEO of GitLab. He discovered Dmitriy's open-source GitLab project online and reached out to help commercialize it. Sid pioneered the concept of the all-remote company and has been a strong advocate for remote work long before it became mainstream. He has written extensively about GitLab's radical transparency culture, where even the company's internal handbook is publicly available online for anyone to read.
