ElevenLabs
FeaturedThe most realistic AI voice platform.
Founded in 2022 by Piotr Dabkowski and Mati Staniszewski in New York, ElevenLabs was built after the two Polish co-founders were frustrated by the poor quality of existing text-to-speech tools while trying to dub English movies into Polish. Starting with just a research prototype, ElevenLabs launched publicly in January 2023 and immediately went viral for its eerily realistic AI voices that could clone any voice from a short audio sample. The company raised $80 million in 2024 at a $1.1 billion valuation and has since crossed $100 million in annualized revenue. ElevenLabs is used by audiobook publishers, game studios, podcasters, and content creators in 29 languages. In 2025, it raised an additional $250 million at a $3.3 billion valuation, cementing its position as the world's leading AI voice platform.
