Founder / CEO
Olivier Pomel is the co-founder and CEO of Datadog. Born in France, he studied at École Polytechnique and previously worked as an engineer at Wireless Generation, where he experienced firsthand the pain of monitoring complex distributed systems. He co-founded Datadog with Alexis to build the monitoring platform he wished had existed. Under his leadership, Datadog has grown from a small startup to a $30+ billion public company used by tens of thousands of engineering teams worldwide.
Alexis Lê-Quôc
Co-Founder / CTO
Alexis Lê-Quôc is the co-founder and CTO of Datadog. Also a French engineer, he previously worked alongside Olivier at Wireless Generation. Alexis architected Datadog's core data collection and aggregation infrastructure — the system that allows Datadog to ingest trillions of data points per day from millions of servers, containers, and cloud services across thousands of customer environments with sub-second latency.
